Description
Introduced in 2017, the Columbia Giant Blackberry is named for its gigantic size. This blackberry variety is a high quality, high yielding, thornless trailing blackberry with good flavor and firm fruit that are suited for local fresh market sales and also have very good frozen quality. The very large berries are firm and tart with good flavor, and appear very dark purple or black in color. The berries are available locally in Oregon to enjoy fresh, or can be used year round from frozen.
