Blackberry Vinaigrette

This bright and flavorful Blackberry Vinaigrette will add a punch of flavor to any salad. With just a few simple ingredients and quick spin in the blender you will have the most delicious homemade salad dressing. Bonus: you can use fresh or frozen Oregon blackberries – so you can make it any time of year!

Ingredients

1 Cup fresh or frozen Blackberries
1/3 Cup olive oil
1/4 Cup apple cider vinegar
1 pinch kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon fresh ground pepper
1 Tablespoon fresh marjoram leaves

Preparation

Step 1
Combine the blackberries, olive oil, vinegar, salt, pepper, and marjoram in a vessel big enough to use an immersion blender in. (Alternatively, use a normal blender).

Step 2
Blend until smooth. Taste and adjust as needed (if you want more tang, add more vinegar, etc.). Strain through fine-mesh sieve if you desire a silky smooth dressing.
