Blackberry Mint Lemonade

Oregon Blackberries pair perfectly with the fresh mint and lemons, while also providing a source of nutrients. Ingredients

3 cups frozen Oregon blackberries, thawed
½ cup sugar
5 cups water, divided
1 ½ cups lemon juice
3 tablespoons (packed) fresh mint, plus a few sprigs for garnish

Preparation

Step 1
Place sugar and 1 cup water in a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir until sugar has completely dissolved. Set aside to cool.

Step 2
In a large pitcher, combine lemon juice, blackberries, and mint. Use a muddler to crush up the blackberries and mint.

Step 3
Stir in the sugar water mixture and remaining 4 cups of water. Refrigerate until ready to serve.

Step 4
Serve cold over ice and garnish with mint sprigs.
